Beiersdorf introduces Nivea Men Climate Care Moisturizer, Lubrizol unveils baby care ingredients

This week, Beiersdorf addressed the demand for planet-conscious skincare products with its Nivea Men Climate Care Moisturizer. Lubrizol Life Science unveiled baby care ingredients for NPD. Meanwhile, Calvin Klein’s CK Everyone Eau de Parfum fragrance received certification.

In NPD moves, Mibelle Biochemistry introduced FenuKale Nu to combat environmental stress experienced by the skin. Chemyunion unveiled a range of new product offerings, including hair repairing shampoo Restart PRO.

AI and AR beauty specialist Perfect Corp. released its Global Beauty Trend Report, which showcases the top 2022 hair color trends, delving into the popularity of virtual try-on.

UK-based No7 Beauty Company leveraged Bamboo Rose’s expertise in simplifying the global supply chain via its
MEP digital platform. Beauty Health released a digitally connected and improved version of its HydraFacial Syndeo delivery system for skincare.


In other developments, Amyris addressed the demand for fermentation-based products and strengthened its presence within the biotechnology sector by commissioning its new plant in Barra Bonita, Brazil. Probi and Symrise released SymFerment, a skincare ingredient made from Probi’s upcycled Lactiplantibacillus fermentation.

This week in personal care news, LastObject released LastRound Pro, a black version of their reusable cotton rounds. Univar Solutions’ Beauty Personal Care division named Tony Jaillot as its vice president. Meanwhile, a study found skincare products containing food items, such as goat’s milk, should be avoided by people with inflammatory skin disorders.
Mariana Yamamoto, skincare product and marketing manager at Chemyunion highlights new approaches to spot lightening treatments for aging skin. The company’s solution Iselight targets the root cause of age spot formations by promoting cellular detoxification. It is made from plant extract Myrothamnus flabellifolia and coffee arabica, both important sources of antioxidants that contribute to its anti-aging properties.
