L’Oréal sees sustainability with Gjosa acquisition and energy-saving hair tool

L’Oréal goes all in with Gjosa, buying the outstanding shares of the Switzerland-based company that specializes in water fractioning technology. The cosmetics giant says this will help its “comprehensive and science-based approach to water management.” L’Oréal also unveils AirLight Pro, a hair-drying tool designed to cut energy consumption and hair drying time.

The Innovative Beauty Group (IBG), owned by Albéa, acquires Roberts Beauty, a privately owned full-service provider specializing in custom-designed packaging and turnkey solutions.  IBG says Roberts Beauty will strengthen its Los Angeles, US, team “while creating an interesting cross-selling platform…to enhance service for each customer’s portfolio.”
